Field Instrumentation
Sensors, transmitters, and control loops for flow, level, temperature, and pressure. Mounted, ranged, commissioned, and verified with hands on the device.
Sixteen years with hands on the instruments. Flow, level, temperature, pressure, and analytical measurement: installed, calibrated, commissioned, and verified in the field, including the intermittent faults and hard-to-measure products nobody else will chase down. We troubleshoot the control logic and the PLC and DCS systems around them, and we teach your team to own the result.
It starts at the device. Everything else is built on whether the measurement is telling you the truth.
Sensors, transmitters, and control loops for flow, level, temperature, and pressure. Mounted, ranged, commissioned, and verified with hands on the device.
pH, conductivity, and process analytics: the measurements that foul, drift, and need someone who knows what the reading is actually reporting.
Instrumentation schematics, loop diagrams, and calibration routines that hold up to an audit and keep the loop honest.
Motor control circuits, relay logic, and burner management modernized with visibility and safeguards, where legacy meets logic.
Advanced PID control and Safety Instrumented Functions designed for stability, repeatability, and the times things go wrong.
Reading, changing, and troubleshooting the logic running on your PLC and DCS. Custom integration work happens too, scoped to what a specific job needs.
An intermittent reading. A loop that drifts on night shift and nowhere else. A level that is right until the tank gets low. A transmitter that has been replaced twice and still lies to you.
These are the calls we take. Most measurement problems are not instrument failures. They are a process meeting an instrument that was never matched to it: product flashing across an orifice, low-density solids that radar sees straight through, coating, foam, entrained gas, stratification, temperature swings the datasheet never mentioned.
If something is misbehaving right now, instrument technical support lists the symptoms we get called for and where we work. We find out which it is before anyone spends money. Often the instrument you already own is the right one, mounted, ranged, or configured wrong. Sometimes the technology genuinely cannot see your product, and we will tell you that too, with the reasoning behind it.
In production, a break-in is the job that jumps the schedule. It is also our initials. Describe what the measurement is doing and a specialist answers you by email, at no cost and with nothing to sign up for.
Our work happens through direct engagement, hands-on training, and operational audits. You get documentation a technician can use and measurements you can defend, without replacing equipment that is doing its job.
The install is only half of it. Your team learns to run the systems and keep them honest. Sixteen years in the field, plus instructing at the local community college, means the training is current, hands-on, and grounded in real plant work, not slides. The same calculators and reference tables we teach with are free for anyone in the Field Pocket Guide.
We walk the floor and map what you actually run, on site, in person.
Your team learns the systems as we go, so the knowledge stays.
Modular, mobile-friendly, compliance-ready solutions for your operation.
Commissioning, loop verification, and a clean handoff with the documentation to back it.
